  "I've loved dogs my entire life.  Obtaining my first Welsh Springer in 1982 was the start of a lifelong passion for this breed.  So it is extremely fulfilling to have these wonderful dogs as such a big part of my life now.

  I established Ivywild Welsh Springers in 1996.  Striving for excellence, I have uncompromisingly bred for the betterment of the Welsh Springer. My emphasis has been on the soundest of character combined in a healthy, beautiful and functional form ... true to type. "  -Faye

There is no question, Faye is the breeder and driving force at Ivywild Welsh Springer Spaniels.  The mission is to breed healthy, intelligent, confident Welsh Springers with an even temperament, and fun to train!  We strongly encourage all our puppy homes to participate with their Welsh Springer in training classes.

 You will not find a kennel of concrete here at Ivywild. We live in a New England-style cape, situated on two acres in Litchfield County, Connecticut.  Our dogs live indoors with us in a warm, loving home environment.  Our Ivywild pups are "homespun" and we breed one of our AKC champion females only once every year or two.
